Landscape Architecture Urban Design Planning 401 West Mountain Aeenue Suite 201 Fort Collins. CO 80521-2604 PHONE (970) 224-5828 FAX (970) 224-1662 Currently there are 3 existing Juniper Trees located along the front of the existing Clubhouse Facility. These trees will need to be removed to allow for the construction of the new facility. Per section 3.2.1.(F) of the Fort Collins Land Use Code, these trees would need to be relocated on site, or replaced. It was determined by Tim Buchannon, the City Forrester, that the trees to be removed must be compensated for by planting two trees for each that is removed. The replacement trees must be sized as outlined in the Land Use Code, Section 3.2.1(F)(1). Therefore, as compensation for the 3 existing Junipers to be removed, the proposed landscape plan calls for 6 -2.5" caliper Chantieleer Pear trees to be planted at the entries along Horsetooth Road. If you have any further question or further clarification is necessary, please contact me. Sincerely, 2 i Donald R. Brookshire, ASLA VF Ripley, Associates
