I believe he does, since I've classified the clubhouse as a principal use/building. As such, section 3.3.1(A)(3)(b) requires a plat. With regards to the other projects - Neighborhood parks don't require a plat because they don't have principal buildings. The community park will definitely need to be platted before a permit can be issued for the rec center. If the maintenance facility building will be used to house operations intended to solely support Fossil Creek Community Park, then a plat probably isn't required. However, if the offices, shop, etc will be used as a "regional" park facility, then a plat is needed. >>> Craig Foreman 06/27 2:51 PM >>> Hi: I heard from Jerry Brown that the Collindale Golf Course project was not going to require a plat. So I thought I'd better ask about two park projects. My question is your thoughts on Harmony Neighborhood Park near Preston Junior High and it's need or not for a plat. The park is 10 acre in size and is a typical day use facililty with small restroom and shelter. Fossil Creek Community Park is also in the City review process. The 100 acre park will have restrooms, shelters, a maintenance facility ( 6,600 sq. ft. with offices, restrooms, shop area, wash bay). The site is planned for a future recreation center (presently unfunded) that will have it's own parking and will be about 60,000 sq. ft. in size. And; again your thoughts for the need for a plat.
