This letter acknowledges receipt of the annexation petition, Resolution, hearing notice and Impact
Report for the above annexation. On November 30, 2001 staff from the Larimer County
Planning, Engineering and Health Departments met to review the materials provided. We have
identified one concern at this time:
It appears from the plat that only the south half of the right-of-way of Prospect Rd. is being
annexed. Our Intergovernmental Agreement requires the annexation of all county road rights -of -
way adjacent to a voluntary annexation. If there are specific reasons for not annexing the full
adjacent county road, a written explanation is to be provided in the Impact Report. In the absence
of these special circumstances, we urge that this road segment be included in the annexation, as is
prescribed by our Intergovernmental Agreement.
