HomeMy WebLinkAboutMACALLISTER RESIDENTIAL GROUP HOME, 1214 CATALPA PL. - GROUP HOME REVIEW - 31-01 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING (3)No Text Commu. 7 Planning and Environmental vices Current Planning City of Fort Collins August 13, 2001 Dear Resident/Property Owner: On Thursday, August, 23, 2001, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1709 West Elizabeth Street, the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a proposed Group Home in your neighborhood. At this time, the proposal is referred to as the Macallister Group Home at 1214 Catalpa Court. The proposal is to house six to eight elderly clients in a future single family detached home on Lot 69 of The Ponds at Overland Trail, Second Filing. The site is currently vacant. The applicants are proposing to construct a four -bedroom, ranch -style, with walk -out basement, single family detached home. A three -car garage is also proposed. Mr. and Mrs. Macallister would live in the home full-time. There would be one employee to help out in the mornings and at other random times as needed. The subdivision is zoned R-F, Residential Foothills zone district which allows Group Homes as long as they are 1,500 feet separated from a similar facility. This will be the second neighborhood meeting on this project. The first meeting was held on July 26, 2001. The purpose of the second meeting is notify the entire Ponds neighborhood. The mailing list for this letter was provided by the Ponds Homeowners' Association.
