Dear Resident:
On Thursday, July 26, 2001, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Westminster
Presbyterian Church, 1709 West Elizabeth Street, the City of Fort Collins Planning
Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development
proposal in your neighborhood. The project is the Macallister Group Home at 1214
Catalpa Court.
The proposal is to house six to eight elderly clients in a future single family detached
home on Lot 69 of The Ponds at Overland Trail, Second Filing. The site is currently
vacant.
The applicants are proposing to construct a four -bedroom, ranch -style, single family
detached home. A three -car garage is also proposed. There would be non-resident
supervisor(s) for 24-hour, seven days per week coverage. The subdivision is zoned R-
F, Residential Foothills zone district.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from
official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property
owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending
meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend
this meeting, written comments are welcome.
