The proposed project is called the Fossil Lake Project Development Plan (P.D.P.), Fourth Filing. The applicant is intending to develop 80 multi -family dwelling units on 10.67 acres at the northeast corner of Ziegler Road and Shallow Pond Drive. The site will be bisected by the extension of Dripping Rock Lane. Proposed are eight (8) three -bedroom units with attached two -car garages, and seventy-two (72) two - bedroom units with single -car attached garages. The units are distributed among eight six-plex and eight four-plex buildings. The applicant intends that all units will be marketed for -sale. What can you expect from attending the neighborhood meeting? The purpose of a neighborhood meeting is to open a line of communication between the applicant and the neighbors. This is the forum through which the neighbors can express their concerns, City staff can explain the development review process, and the applicant can explain to the neighbors what they are intending to do with the project and answer questions from the neighbors. Meeting notes are taken by City staff, and become part of the project file. Why did you receive notice of this meeting? Reasonable efforts were taken to invite property owners of record within 750 feet of the site. A list of property owners was derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
