Paint curb red 5 feet back on each side of ramp to prevent parked cars from blocking ramp access and to increase the visibility of people crossing the street from the trail (see red lines). 4. Transportation Planning - As discussed at the 4/10/01 City/County meeting, keep trail along southern property as shown for now. This includes an enhanced crosswalk where it crosses the street (see redlines). If Park Planning wants to relocate the trail baled on the development of Dr. Beard's property, the approved plans can be amended in the future. 5. Transportation Planning - Regarding developer comments from first round of reviews. Directional ramps are required in the new Larimer County Urban Area Street Standards where sidewalks are detached (16.3.1#5). Designs should be in accordance with the standard drawing 16-4D. 6. Transportation Planning - Please see the Engineering comment #4 regarding the directional sidewalk ramps. 7. Advance Planning - We need to coordinate the boundaries of the zone districts that will need to be assigned to the property upon annexation. A meeting has been set up between Advance Planning and Natural - - -- -Resources-for next week to -determine -what -the -appropriate -zone -district - - for the property in the Resource Management Area will need to be. At this point it looks likely that UE may work, but have the applicant check with us before they proceed with that on the annexation application. 8. Current Planning - Please refer to the attached "Annexation and Zoning Submittal Requirements" hand out, and the "Submittal Checklist for Annexation and Zoning" handout to for a detailed list of what to submit for annexation. Please have the engineering consultant talk to me about the exact location between zone district boundaries before they spend a lot of time on them. Note on item 3(c) on the submittal requirements sheet that we will need a legal description of the boundaries of each of the proposed zone districts within the area to be annexed. 9. Current Planning - The school and park site is scheduled to go to 2nd reading of the City Council on May 1, 2001, so this property will be eligible for annexation very soon. As we get closer to the middle of May, we need to set up a meeting to discuss the details of the annexation. Among the items to be discussed should be approproate zone districts and their specific locations, the details of the petition, who the applicant will be, fees, etc. Please coordinate these efforts with Troy Jones. 2 Commt y Planning and Environmental rvices Current Planning City of Fort Collins April 13, 2001 Matt Lafferty Larimer County Planning Department P.O.
