Hi: I've been looking through my records and it appears that in May, 2001 1 ask City right-of-way for the
owner of the vacant property across the street from Bennett School.
I called Mrs. Abbey and she indicated that she would not donate or discount the land value for a park. I
had some information from a neighbor that the land value was in the $600,000 to $700,000 range.
Mrs. Abbey did indicate they raised four children and used and enjoyed our park system
