District buses are provided outside the Standards walking distance for high schools. 3.6.6 Emergency Access Emergency vehicle access has been provided to all sides of the building and to the athletic fields. 3.7.3 Adequate Public Public facilities and services needed to support high school will be available at the time of Facilities school opening in August of 2004. 3.8.11(A),( Fences & Walls Fencing is for defining and establishing the limits of the various athletic facilities only. B) &(D) Fencing is not used for privacy, security or sound buffering. 3.8.13 Wireless At this time, there are no wireless telecommunication facilities or equipment. Telecommunication 3.8.21 Organic Soil The athletic fields will feature organic soil amendments after over lot grading in order to Amendments ensure vitality of the grass and a safe playing surface. Article 3-Decision Criteria for Poudre School District Projects Decision Standards Section 3.2.2 Standard Access, Circulation & Parking Purpose The safety, efficiency and convenience of all modes to and from surrounding areas is provided. 3.2.3(D) Shading There will be no shading of adjacent properties. 3.2.4 Site Lighting The security and athletic lighting will not shine onto surrounding ro ert. 3.3.2(F)(G) Off -Site Public- Access Improvements There will be adequate connectivity to the Arterial Street Network. Public improvements along abutting streets will be constructed. 3.3.3 Water Hazards There will be compliance with stormwater standards/flood lain regulations. 3.3.5 Engineering Design Standards There will be compliance with public design standards and specifications. 3.4.1 Natural Habitats & Features There are no significant natural habitats and features. The McClelland Channel will be protected during the design process for the future community ark. 3.4.2 Air Quality There will be conformance with local, state, and federal air quality standards. 3.4.3 Water Quality There will be conformance with local, state, and federal water quality standards. 3.4.4 Noise & Vibration There will be compliance with on -site noise levels per the L-M-N zone. 3.4.5 Hazardous Materials There will be compliance with requirements for storage and use of hazardous materials. 3.4.6 Glare or Heat There will be on impacts due to glare. 3.4.7 Historic & Cultural Resources The Webster Farm house, barn and out -buildings will be preserved. 3.4.8 Parks & Trails There is compliance with the Parks & Recreation Master Plan. 3.5.1 Building & Project Compatibility A high school is unique. There is compatibility with Harmony Technology Park and buffering from the residential neighborhoods. 3.5.3(D) Institutional Building Standards The building design is of equal quality to Harmony Technology Park. The design and architectural image are of high quality. 3.6.1 Master Street Plan The public improvements will be constructed in accordance with the Master Street Plan. 3.6.2 (A)(B)(C)( D)(F)(G)(H) Streets, Streetscapes, Alleys & Easements All public improvements will be constructed per City standards.
