TO: FROM: DATE: SUBJECT: John Little, Poudre School District Ted Shepard, Planning Department Transportation Planning Staff Matt Delich-~is) February 6, 2002 The New 2004 High School Transportation Impact Study - Response to Transportation Planning Comment 7, dated 1- 25-02 (File: 0164ME01) This memorandum responds to a staff comment requesting additional information regarding pedestrian LOS. As indicated in the TIS, all of the pedestrian destinations were identified and each was evaluated on a pedestrian LOS worksheet. The only row that was left blank was that labeled as "actual." With all of the construction going on in the area, actual LOS was deemed to be irrelevant. It is important that acceptable LOS will be achieved in each of the five evaluation elements in the "City of Fort Collins Multimodal Level of Service Criteria Manual." Therefore, it is concluded that the pedestrian LOS worksheet has been completed in this TIS. If further information is requested, this should be specified in a letter to John Little, Poudre School District.
