[11/18/08] After the 13,000 volt underground electric is field located and shown on the
plans, provide a minimum of 10 feet of separation to the proposed water main extension.
RESPONSE: The proposed waterline is now at least 10 feet from the power line.
Number: 55 Created: 11/18/2008
[11/18/08] The extension the water main currently appears to beat the very edge of the
utility easement. A minimum of 10 feet is required from the easement line to the centerline
of the water main.
RESPONSE: The easement you refer to is the existing easement. The proposed waterline is
fully within the proposed easement..

[11/18/08] The notes on the fire line and the domestic water service appear to be reversed.

[11/7/081 There is a 13,000 volt underground power line that records indicate is on the
westerly side of the driveway (east of the proposed building). This power line needs to be
field located and shown on the utility plan.
RESPONSE: Field locates are now shown on the plans. Potholing will be necessary to verify
depth at the time of construction..
Number: 52 Created: 11 /7/2008
[11/7/081 The developer will need to coordinate a location for an electric transformer on the
site. The space required will be approximately 11 ft. x 13 ft. including the required
clearances. The transformer must also be within 10 ft. of an all-weather surface accessible to
a utility line truck. There is no obvious location on the utility plan for this transformer.
RESPONSE: The transformer pad is now shown at the northeast corner of the building
between the building and the trash enclosure.
Number: 53 Created: 11 /7/2008
[ 11/7/08] A portion of the electric development charges were paid with the development of
the existing building to the north. The remaining Light & Power charges, plus costs to
modify the existing electric facilities as necessary will be charged to the developer. Light &
Power will need a Commercial Service Information form completed and returned to Electric
Engineering.
RESPONSE: Acknowledged.

[ 11 /19/081 Please provide a design & detail for the scourstop pad per manufacturer's
recommendation. Also, please use the scourstop all the way to the drainage pan and remove
the rip -rap at the bottom. This area will not withstand the velocity proposed and the 6-inches
of topsoil over the rip -rap will likely wash away.
RESPONSE: The scourstop coverage has been revised per your comment. Design
worksheets for the scourstop product are limited to pipe exit situations. The width of
scourstop provided is equivalent to the width necessary given the curb openings..
