Dear Mr. Tiller:
Platte River Power Authority previously approved the referenced project drawings in a
letter to a Mr. Mike Randolph, of Stewart and Associates, dated April 22, 2001.
Platte River still has no objection to the proposal and the use of their easement for the
specific uses indicated (parking and drainage). Clearance requirements of the National
Electric Safety Code shall be maintained. As before, this approval by Platte River shall not
be construed as giving up any of the rights granted Platte River for their transmission line
easement crossed by this proposal.
One acquired right is the restriction regarding planting of trees on the easement. Platte
River has the right to remove trees and will do so as safety for the public and safe operation
of the electrical system is of utmost concern. The required clearance between the line and a
tree is a minimum of ten (10) feet with the line at maximum sag criteria. This would allow a
tree to only grow to a maximum mature height of sixteen (16) feet. Similarly, a street line
may only be sixteen (16) above the ground. Other acquired rights exist which will be found
in Platte Rivers easement language for the property.

Sheri,
You requested that PRPA sign off on the Centerpoint Plaza Replat PDP
drawings or that I provide a letter stating PRPR is ok iwth the improvements
shown within their no -build easement area (Number 18, created 6/5/2007).
Please review the attached letter. I reviewed our plans with Tom McCormick
prior to him issuing this letter. Will you require a signature block for PRPA
as part of the final plans? Or will this letter suffice for the final plan too?
