Racks will be located to the southeast of the main entry (south of the Gym), and to the west of area B. f) The Courtyard will be the location of any water features. Could be an Bid Alternate, or just set up for future student projects. These minutes are the interpretation and recollection of RB+B Architects, Inc. AQUA needs to review construction phasing, equipment lead times, etc. g) All Light and Power conduits under driveable surfaces to be in flow fill. h) Transformer Clearances: 4' on 3 sides, 8' on the front. i) Parking Lots lighting, fields lighting, will be part of Bid Package #2. j) Need to watch layout of street trees vs. streetlights. k) PSD needs to determine how the farm buildings will obtain power after the high school is completed. 1) There will be no streetlights along the Private Drive, except where there are parking lot entry points and at the 3-way stop. PSD needs to contact City Parks about any lighting requirements near their ball field parking. m) Parking lot lighting will be zoned for control of lights / flexible scheduling. n) Tracy will coordinate CATV, Phone service, data, and fiber system. 15) Building Electrical Service: a) The gate to the transformer needs to be 12' wide. Maintain turning radii for line truck getting to the transformer. b) Conduits will pass under the wall of the Tech Ed yard: 2 @ 4". c) Transformer Clearances: 4' on 3 sides, 8' on the front. 4) Construction Power: a) May be fed from the existing farm buildings for Bid Package #1. b) If the contractors want to use the building power for Bid package #2 construction power, we may have to move the transformer further away from the building. Need to discuss with GCs. 3) Natural Gas Service: a) Requires 9' of wall space for gas meter. Specific requirements for clearances to openings and other equipment were presented by Lou. MKK to review. b) Gas will come from Rock Creek. 3) Water, Sewer, and Storm Drainage: a) Tom is obtaining water pressure information and will coordinate with MKK. b) A sump will be required in the area well north of the boiler room. 3) Fields and Site Furnishings: a) Track surface to be type WS per Jerry. Drainage will be the inside of track type, with inlet grates. b) The fields will be Sprinturf or Astroplay. Bids for French Field should be in in a few weeks, and we can get a good cost comparison. c) All fields are shown draining at 1 '/2 %. d) Tackifire will be used along with native grass seeding at the end of Bid Package #1. &..�� If Ted Shepard-..1-28-02 site -coordination - _Page 1 Architects, Inc. The transformer will need 8' min. drive access for a line truck. b) The field lighting will be fed from the Storage Building. Power will be sized for future lighting of the tennis courts. c) Soccer and Track lighting will include provisions for full lighting of the track. d) CEI will show lighting for the overflow parking north of the track. e) The Pump house will have it's own service, fed from Kechter Road. The transformer will need 8' min. drive access for a line truck. f) The softball field south of the Private Drive will be fed from the Pump House. Conduits / Sleeves will need to go under Cambridge Street. Tom will need to get written "permission" to cross under Cambridge. g) The Pump House will not come on line until Fall 2002, and will immediately serve Zach Elementary School.
