Kim,
You're certainly welcome to take the modification as a stand alone. This would require two more hearings
however. One in front of P&Z for the modification, and one in front of a hearing officer for the project
itself. I would recommend just lumping the modification with the project and have P&Z be the only
hearing. I'd recommend designing the project with two scenarios, one with the modification, one without.
It seems that if the project can be graded in such a way that the civil engineering isn't much different
between the two scenarios, it may not be much additional work to approach it this way. If you want to
shoot for December 19th, this is the schedule of events:
by Wed, 11/20 - you submit formal application for modification request
Fri, 11/29 - my staff report due
Wed, 12/4 - P&Z packets to printer
Mon, 12/9 - P&Z packets delivered to board members
Fri, 12/13 - P&Z worksession
Thu, 12/19 - P&Z Hearing

Troy -
Wanted to discuss potential scheduling of this additional modification.
I'm going to advise Mr. Holter that it seems best to apply for the
modification prior to moving to PDP with the amount of engineering work,
etc., that needs to be done with that application.
What timeline would we need to meet to make the December 19th PZB meeting?
I called about concept reviews, and was told the 18th is the earliest
possible. Do we need to go through another concept review meeting, or can
the previous one suffice, and we can move straight into the modification
application? It seems unlikely that anything significant will be brought
up at conceptual review beyond what comments were already provided.
Just trying to get a better feel for the schedule on this. Please reply or
call me at 226-4074. Thanks!
