The proposed project is commonly known as Discount Tire at Fossil Creek P.D.P. File # 26-02. The applicant is intending to construct a tire store at the southeast corner of College Avenue and Fossil Creek Boulevard. This is the same project for which neighborhood information meetings were held on March 18, 2002 and July 11, 2002. Both the hearing officer and the City's planning staff consider your interest and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an important part of the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to provide input, written comments are welcome. In accordance with the Fort Collins Land Use Code, owners of property within 500 feet of the site are notified of this hearing by mail. Additionally, staff increased the notification area beyond 500 feet as requested at the first neighborhood meeting. The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this p nding meetin so all interested neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
