Request for extension
In order to keep this project in the development review process, we are requesting the
allowed 60-day extension for the re -submittal of staff comments to Discount Tire at
Fossil Creek Parkway, Type 1 Review.
City comments were received on September 26, 2002. The main comments were from the
City Engineering and Stormwater Departments. The project has involved an intensive
floodplain analysis requiring multiple redesigning of the grading plan which is currently
under examination by the floodplain administrator. In addition, further review of the
Interim and Ultimate pedestrian traffic design at College and Fossil Creek Parkway
intersection is required.
This has caused additional time to process the re -submittal and therefore a request for a
60-day extension.

60-day extension: February 26, 2003

Plan resubmittal deadline 60-day extension
Dear Ms. Herbert:
The City of Fort Collins has reviewed and approved a 60-day extension to the
Discount Tire at Fossil Creek Parkway Project Development Plan resubmittal
deadline. With the extension, the new deadline will be February 24, 2003. This
will hopefully give you sufficient time to resolve the outstanding stormwater
issues associated with your project.
