Dear Loren and Denise Iverson,
This message is in response to your e-mail regarding the proposal to convert the house at 3107 San Luis
to a group home for the care of the elderly. The Fort Collins Land Use Code does not give City staff the
discretion to postpone the neighborhood meeting and public hearing as you request. The applicant has
the right to request the change of use of the house, and the Land Use Code spells out the timeframe
within which that neighborhood meeting and public hearing must be processed. Our Land Use Code is

As a neighbor, I demand that an information meeting and public hearing be rescheduled for no earlier than
September 2002 so that as a resident, we will be able to attend for the development of a group home at
3107 San Luis Street.
