The file # 27-02 is public record. You are welcome to come down and look at the file for more information.
For clarification, this application is not to rezone the property. It is to change the use of the property from
singleJamily residential to a group home for the care of the elderly. The property will continue to be in the
Low Density Residential (RL) zoning district. Group homes are a permitted use in the RL zone district.

roy: My name is Randy Schwindt and I live at 2400 Pinecone Circle and
arriving home from a short vacation I had this notice in my front door
my mail regarding the quick rezoning of 3107 San Luis Street.
writing to demand that the information meeting and public hearing be
rescheduled for no earlier than September so that all affected residents will
be able to attend.
I also have had personal experience with elderly care group homes and do not
believe this property is practical for this purpose.
Can you also provide me with more details on this rezoning request?
