Staff has reviewed your submittal for WINGSHADOW, 1225 REDWOOD STREET
PDP - TYPE II (LUC) #44-02, and we offer the following comments:
ISSUES:
Department: Engineering
Issue Contact: Dave Stringer
Name of project needs to be " Wing Shadow at New Beginnings, Phase I of
Redwood Village Commons"
Department: Transportation Planning Issue Contact: Tom Reiff
Please distinguish between existing and proposed improvements on the site plan.
Please identify and label handicap parking stalls on all plan sets.
Was a Transportation Impact Study (TIS) required for this submittal?
Does the location of the bike rack shown have a safe and convenient access ramp
from the drive aisle? If not, a ramp to the bicycle rack is necessary or relocate the
rack to a more secure location near the building's entrance where the main ramp in
front of the building can provide access.
Will one bicycle rack be sufficient for the proposed number of students and young
people using the facility?
This concludes Staff comments at this time. As always, if you have any questions
regarding these issues or any other issues related to this project, please feel free to
call me at (970) 221-6750.
Sincerely: _
