RE: Taft Hill/Hull Rezoning
File 31-02
Dear Sir:
We are strongly opposed to changing the zoning on the Taft HiIVHull rezoning
File 31-02 from low to medium density.
As there is already an abundance of houses and apartments in our area, and in
the City, with for sale or rent signs, we question the need to add more density to
the area. There are already many college students renting here and they
generate a lot of traffic with their constant comings and goings.
Even though we understand, from traffic control, that the excess traffic generated
by this project would not be a problem, we disagree. Our home is in Hampshire
Pond East which is south of Drake west of Taft Hill. With only one good
entrance/exit out of the area many, many times we now have to wait a long time
to get out. Especially now that we have a double left turn lanes from Taft Hill.
While we are not opposed to the area developing, we do strongly oppose
changing this zoning from low to medium density.
Yours truly,

P.S. Why is this the first we have heard about this? We and many of our
neighbors, never received notice of the public hearing. We have lived here over
two years and received other notices regarding changes in our area. Why no
notice this time?
