"Your input is important to the design process"
• Please pick up the decorative architectural details of the old HS, i.e. columns, arched
windows, rooflines, and brick exterior. Make the addition blend...
• The addition shape looks great — am assuming the same Jeffersonian column spin will
be applied.in some way to carry the central entrance motif over/across the front...
• Please make the fagade of the addition as dainty and fine as that of the original
entrance...
• My main concern is parking. More importantly, I don't want the track/field paved
over. I'm very happy to see that plans do not call for that. Thank you!...
• This is truly a landmark structure and should be treated as such by CSU...
• 1 am interested in seeing the top... more in line with the surrounding formal brick
buildings — perhaps a dome or at least similar columns, I don't know whether it's
Federal, like Monticello?...
• Shift the Performance Hall to the north of the Old gym. Lower the fly to be in scope
with a 500-seat theater... please add similar columns... keep the brick, color,
gingerbread and windows from the old building to the new center...
• The plan I see is wonderfully designed and ... holds real potential for fostering better
community/campus relations. Will the effort be spent to insure an addition that
blends/matches well the older part of the high school?...
• Plans should be made to build the performance arts addition to the back of the
building or a new structure on the old track grounds...
• Style of arts center must compliment the old building...
0 The outside appearance must reflect and blend with the traditional, stately architecture
