O. Box 580 Fort Collins CO 80522-0580 Dear Board Members: We are writing to state our strong opposition to the proposed modification of parking standards for 701 Wagner Drive, File 937-02, to be considered at your meeting on October 17, 2002. It is absurd for a multi -family residential property to provide only 40 parking places for 36 units. It is questionable whether the current standard of 61 parking places is adequate, but under no circumstances should the developer be granted an exception to that standard. The only reason the developer would seek such an exception is to maximize his/her profits at the expense of the tenants or buyers and of others living in the neighborhood. If the developer can't find room for adequate on -site parking spaces, the number of units should be scaled back so that the city's standards can be met. Sincerely yours, 1 &,_t Cd u),, "it Robert W. Woody A -Young Moon Woody Owners of 621 West Coy Drive, Fort Collins CO 80521
