Dear Mr. Barkeen,
We received your notice of application from owners of 701 Wagner Street
requesting a reduction in the required number of off-street parking spaces for their
property. We are unable to attend the hearing on September 191, but wish to register our
strong opposition to their request with your office.
We do not reside in Fort Collins, but purchased the property on Birch Street in
1994 for our daughter, who was then a student at CSU. On frequent visits to Fort Collins
over the years we have observed ever-increasing problems with traffic and parking,
particularly near the CSU campus. We feel that variances of this type will only add to the
problems.
Thank you for keeping us informed on this matter and for accepting our written
input about the request.
