September 23, 2002
Dear Resident:
On Monday, October 7, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Foothills Unitarian
Church, 1815 Yorktown Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Current Planning
Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss the potential
annexation of a 220 acre area (please see map on the reverse side) into the City
of Fort Collins. The annexation proposal is being referred to as the South Taft
Hill Seventh Annexation. This County area is completely surrounded by the
City of Fort Collins and is now eligible for annexation pursuant to State statutes.
The purpose of the meeting is to review the costs and benefits to area property
owners as a result in the change of jurisdiction between Larimer County and the
City of Fort Collins, and for citizens to identify and discuss issues related to the
annexation. Citizens are encouraged to attend and actively participate in the
meeting.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 970-221-
6750.
Sincerely,
Cameron Gloss
Current Planning Director
