I do not yet have a Final Plat submittal. I did hear from their engineer recently. She indicated they are planning to submit soon. For Final Plat, they can submit any workday. Since I haven't gone through an entire final plat process here, I'm not sure how quickly we can complete it but in this case there is some significant engineering required. That's why it has taken so long for them to get their submittal together. Given public notice lag time, everything would need to be complete with all kinks worked out within another week or two if they were to make the November 25 BCC meeting. I'm guessing it's not really likelihood that the would get FP approval before your 12/5/02 meeting but I'll check. It sounds to me like there might be some miscommunication between Duane, his consultants, and the City. Duane sometimes lays out deadlines to maintain pressure for momentum. He doesn't always think through the ramifications. I think I need to touch base with them. I will let you know what I find out. I haven't talked to you about it for quite some time, so I thought I'd check in, and also let you know how the annexation train -of -thought is coming along from our end. I've been talking with Duane Lebsack, and it sounds like he's ready to get the ball rolling on the review of the annexation. We're planning to take both Tract 2 of Peterson MLD, and all of Streamside at the same time, and soon enough to have it annexed in time for Streamside's building permits to be issued by the City. Tentitavely, the annexation hearing schedule that we're shooting for is as follows: Planning and Zoning Board - December 5, 2002 Council's Initiating Resolution - December 17, 2002 Council's First Reading - January 21, 2003 Council's Second Reading - February 4, 2002 Effective date of Annexation Ordinance - February 14, 2003 We can, of course, delay these hearings if it looks like the final plat won't be finalized in time for this schedule. Let me know what you think.
