Mr. Lebsack,
This memo is intended to put in writing the City's commitment to you regarding the
timing of the annexation of the Peterson and Streamside Annexations. We intend to start
the review of the annexation application this %peek. The process of annexation requires a
staff review and 4 different hearings: (1) Planning and Zoning Board Hearing; (2)
Initiating Resolution by City Council; (3) First Reading by City Council: and (4) Second
Reading by City Council. We intend to proceed with the staff review of the annexation
and the first 3 hearings. Then we intend to wait until the Streamside Planned Land
Division Final Plat has been approved by the Board of County Commissioners before we
proceed with the final hearing (second reading). The Annexation Ordinance will take
affect 10 days after second reading. The exact dates of these hearings are still yet to be
determined based on the anticipated date of the County's of final plat approval. As these
/anticipated hearing dates take shape I will keep Michael Chalona informed.
