This office has traffic counts for the County roads surrounding this proposal. Counts are available upon request. • All adjacent County roads must be included in the annexation. The annexation of the right-of-way must be full width, and the maintenance responsibilities for the roads will become a City responsibility once annexed. • We would like to review the traffic impact study submitted for the proposed land use on this annexation property, when it is available, to determine possible off -site road impacts to area County roads. • Drainage and wind/water erosion should be addressed in a Drainage / Erosion Control Plan and Report; the format we request can be found in the Larimer County Stormwater Management Manual. We would like to review the master drainage plans to determine any impacts to existing County drainage facilities. • This annexation and subsequent development could potentially increase the traffic at the State Highway 1 and Douglas Road Intersection. This intersection currently has safety deficiencies and has been identified as an adequate public facilities improvement project. Larimer County requests that all new developments in this area that cause an increase in traffic at the State Highway 1 and Douglas Road Intersection contribute money towards the needed improvements at this intersection.
