HomeMy WebLinkAboutCSU SOUTH DORMITORY - SITE PLAN ADVISORY REVIEW - 50-02A - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-HEARING_1 r r --,.vr _ Citv of Fort Collins Dear Resident: Community Planning and Environmental Services Current Planning March 26, 2003 On Thursday, April 10, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers', City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins" will hold a public hearing on a proposed project in your neighborhood. The proposed project is commonly known as the Colorado State University South Residence Hall, File #50-02A. This is a request for a 172-room residence hall located south of Pitkin Street, east of Shields Street, immediately south of the Colorado State University Main Campus. A total of 688 students (four students for each room) will reside at this facility. A parking lot adjacent to the building will provide 231 parking spaces The property is zoned HMN — High Density Mixed Use Residential. The facility will be owned and managed by Colorado State University. The City of Fort Collins Planning Staff considers your interest and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important part of the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to provide input, written comments are welcome. The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
