Dear Resident:
On Monday, June 28, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as possible), in
the City Council chambers in City Hall, 300 LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins, CO.,
the City of Fort Collins Hearing Officer will conduct an administrative public
hearing to consider a development proposal in your neighborhood.
This is a residential project known as the Farmstead, Project Development
Plan. The request is for 19 dwelling units on 2.22 acres. The dwelling units will
be located in 5 buildings (each being 2 stories in height). Proposed access to the
development site is from LaPorte Avenue, with an emergency access drive from
North Taft Hill Road. The proposal includes a request for a modification of the
standard set forth in Section 3.6.2(C), which deals with dead-end streets and
turnarounds.
This proposed project is located at the southwest corner LaPorte Avenue and
North Taft Hill Road. The property is zoned LMN, Low Density Mixed -Use
Neighborhood in the City's Land Use Code.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor
of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
