Re: Kaufman barn project
Since I'm unable to attend the meeting this evening I'd like to voice an opinion
My family has lived directly North of the property, where the barn is proposed, for
30 plus years. The last three years, since Elizabeth Kaufman purchased the
property, has seen more positive improvement than any single property in the
surrounding vicinity. She has spent her time cleaning up trees and weeds,
repairing existing buildings, removing trash, and overall enhancing the area
instead of sitting looking over her fence with a camera photographing what others
are doing.
If my understanding of city code is followed this project would not even be worthy
of consideration at the meeting.
Since we live in a free country people have the right to voice a minority opinion
therefore projects like this get presented before planning committees.
1 respectfully request the committee allow the Kaufman barn project to go forward
as planned.
