Dear Mr. Gloss,
I own a home at 637 Cowan Street in old town Fort Collins that has attached to it an
undeveloped lot suitable for new construction. I have been working my way through the
development and review process during the past year in hopes of building a new three -
unit home, which for the most part has gone along fairly well. Recently, I received calls
from both Bob Barkeen & Georgiana that the project has expired because of no recent
updated submittals. This is the first time I have tried to get a project approved with the
City of Fort Collins and had no idea that this process could expire from a time standpoint.
My focus was getting through the holiday season, and recently other areas of work have
taken much of my time and energy.
I respectfully request an extension from the Planning & Development department with
regards to the project at 637 Cowan Street. If this extension is granted I will be finalizing
some of the lose ends that have not been resolved.
