A. Purpose
The purpose of this report is to analyze the stormwater impacts to site development at the City of Fort
Collins Utilities, Fleet and Facilities Services site. The Facility is located in the southwest quarter of
JSection 2, Township 7 North, Range 69 West, of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Fort Collins,
Larimer County, Colorado. More specifically, the site is located in the northwest corner of the
intersection of Wood Street and Vine Drive. Access to the site is via Wood Street, Vine Drive and
Shields Street. See the vicinity map in Appendix A.
The proposed improvements to the Utilities, Fleet and Facilities Services site include an increase in
impervious areas to Lots 1, 2 and 3; removal of the orifice plate on the detention pond in Lot 1; and
replacement of the outlet pipe for the detention pond for the City of Fort Collins Equipment Services
Building at 835 Wood Street.
B. Scope
The scope of this study is to analyze the on -site stormwater facilities at the City of Fort Collins Utilities,
Fleet and Facilities Services site for the interim and ultimate developed condition. This scope includes
!J quantifying the stormwater flows from this site and its contributing basin, and to route these flows to their
outfall at the Cache La Poudre River. This analysis includes the following tasks:
1. Evaluate existing stormwater facilities.
2. Evaluate impacts of the developed site on the existing stormwater facilities.
3: Determine and design method of water quality for the developed flows according to best management
practices.
4. Develop stormwater facilities utilizing existing and new systems that meet the City of Fort Collins
Drainage Criteria Manual and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) Drainage
Criteria.

hydraulics of the on -site stormwater facilities and their outfall to the Cache La Poudre River.
This study was prepared in accordance with the City of Fort Collins Stormwater Design Criteria dated May
1984 and updated January 1999. This report is also in compliance with the Urban Drainage and Flood
JControl District's Urban Drainage Criteria Volumes I and 2, dated June 2001, and Volume 3 dated
