College, Ave. Fort Collins, CO. 80522-0580 Dear Troy: I have received and reviewed staff comments for the proposed telecommunication facility which is to be co -located on the existing PRPA transmission power pole. T-Mobile representatives met with Bob Barkeen in April of this year and physically reviewed possible areas to locate a telecommunications facility near Harmony Road. Mr. Barkeen strongly suggested that T-Mobile co -locate on the existing PRPA pole or demonstrate that the pole will not meet the coverage objective prior to submitting an application for a telecommunication facility in that area. It was determined from a coverage perspective and structural standpoint that the PRPA pole would meet the needs of T-Mobile. Due to the results of the PRPA pole, T-Mobile is continuing to move forward on this proposed facility. ISSUES: Department: Current Planning Topic: Response to comments Number: 9 T-Mobile is willing to reduce the antenna platform from twelve (12) feet in length to three (3) feet for each sector. Please see page Z1.0 antenna detail. Number: 10 See Number 9 explanation. Number: 11 The cables will be relocated to the south side of the pole. Number: 12 The fencing material for the equipment enclosure must remain chain link per the Union Pacific safety standards. The fencing can be vinyl dipped to the City of Ft. Collins color specifications. See page Z2.0. Number: 13 Due to the ground equipment location, it does not appear feasible to place other vegetation with the existing natural grass landscaping. Also, the location in the front of the compound is the access easement driveway. It would not be appropriate to place vegetation in front of the proposed 12' gate or on the roadway. See page Z1.0.
