Steve,
Thanks for the discussion today.
I talked with Basil he was very helpful.
I would like to recommend the addition of green fences: spruces, or
junipers,( tall evergreens) in addition to the 6 'fences along the
west end. This helps the esthetics, environment and blocks the
houses and lights from view ... (in a few years). Privacy is what we
will be lacking when we have a neighborhood in our back yard.
We live along Sunset St and we are concerned about street lights as
was discussed in the north
area neighborhood plan
Green building and the furture energy consumption of the homes is not
something we should wait any longer to impliment... Let's be concerned
about the environment and lead the nation.
We would love to see compliance with Estar and LEEDS standards
The applicant responded at our neighborhood meeting that there would
be basic handicap accessibility offered in the homes and duplexes,
how will this be implemented?
We also want to mention our concern with traffic on LaPorte Ave
especially between 7-9AM and 3-6 PM. Please, Come drive to Poudre
High School at 7:30 AM and see what we mean.
AND storm water drainage I know is an issue. We live on the high
water table and have experienced flooding in the surrounding
neighborhoods .
