Variance for parking on 317 property 'Ae Relentless pursuit
Of Excellence
To Whom It may Concern,
This letter will confirm that Mickey Willis is attempting to encumber the progress of the
325 Cherry street project by claiming ownership in the 317 Cherry street building. His
claims to an interest in the property are without basis. While we did discuss entering into
a partnership, we never reached an agreement and Mr. Willis has no legal interest in
either property.
I believe Mr. Willis to be disgruntled, since I dismissed him from the project due to
incompatibilities in business philosophies and temperaments. While Mr. Willis has
publicly stated that he "Would do everything possible to stall or cause the project to
fail...", he has no legal justification for doing so.
A Legal partnership was never formed. Mr. Willis was fairly compensated for his
services rendered as a real estate broker and potential partner. I have owned the 325
Chevy Street building for several years and purchased the 317 Building late in 2003. As
evidenced by the attached legal document, the property is titled in my name.
I have retained an attorney, Zachary G. Wilson, to deal with Mr. Willis' claims. Mr.
Willis' lack of a legal claim to the properties will either be decided by agreement or court
action.
Granting this variance is a matter that has no direct relevance to the claims that Mr.
Willis is making against the project.
