I talked to Cathy today at VF Ripley and mentioned the improvements I'll need to see at the Final Compliance submittal. These changes include; 1. Increased landscaping between the parking lot and the walk along Boardwalk (shade trees where possible and ornamental in the other areas keeping in mind the separation necessary for street lights and sewer lines) 2. The 4 feet additional width to the attached 4 feet sidewalk along Whalers Way, which is reimbursable through Street Oversizing. She said there would be no problem incorporating these changes in the next submittal. Let me know if you have questions. TR >>> Steve Olt 05/21 /04 08:31 AM >>> Cathy, The closing paragraph in my comment letter dated April 15, 2004 says that "it appears that another round of staff review is necessary, unless the outstanding issues could be worked out in a utility coordination meeting setting". Typically, the City's development review engineer works with an applicant to schedule a utility coordination meeting. To you knowledge, has Marc Virata been contacted to schedule such a meeting? At this time I need some assurance from other City departments that the item is in a condition to proceed to public hearing. Steve >>> "Cathy Mathis" <cmathisavfavfr.com> 05/21/04 08:16AM >>> Steve, I haven't heard anything from you regarding the First Main Street Bank PDP and whether or not we can get scheduled for a public hearing or if we will have to have another round of review. Timing is critical, as they want to be under construction in the fall. Thanks! Cathy CC: Basil Hamdan; Bruce Vogel; Jeff Hill; Matt Baker
