Bog 1190 Fort Collins, Colorado 80521 RE: Kechter Farm Subdivision Dear Mr. Helmick: Sent via facsimile # 970498-7711 The purpose of this correspondence is to formally object to the construction of Zephyr Road as a connection to Rock Park Drive. The Preliminary Plat for Kechter Farm, September 16, 2013, states this connection. While the intention is to allow traffic from Kechter Farm to travel north on Ziegler Road, there will be an unknown number of vehicles traveling east on Rock Park Drive, north on Crane Drive, east on Rookery Road, north on Brook -water Lane, northeast on Lady Moon and exit on Kechter Road to avoid the AM and PM gridlock on Ziegler Road, when schools are in session or just taking a short cat to an easterly destination. Our objections continue with the following: • The placement of Zephyr Road across from Rock Park Drive is not consistent with City of Fort Collins Master Street -Plan. • Rock Park Drive, Crane Drive and Brookwater Lane are narrow residential streets not designed for through traffic. • School buses stop at Rock Park Drive and Rookery Road and again at Crane Drive and Rookery Road. • The additional cross traffic through Fossil Lake on narrow streets will create multiple safety issues and a negative impact for residents. The Preliminary Plat for Kechter Farm, September 16, 2013, states this connection. While the intention is to allow traffic from Kechter Farm to travel north on Ziegler Road, there will be an unknown number of vehicles traveling east on Rock Park Drive, north on Crane Drive, east on Rookery Road, north on Brookwater Lane, northeast on Lady Moon and exit on Kechter Road to avoid the AM and PM gridlock on Ziegler Road, when schools are in session or just taking a short cut to an easterly destination. Our objections continue vith the following: • The placement of Zephyr Road across from Rock Park Drive is not consistent with City of Fort Collins Master Street Plan.
