Vine Drive Dear Planning and Zoning Board: We are residents of 400 North Impala Drive; one block south of the proposed development of Vine and Impala. This letter is to indicate our opposition to the current proposed development of this property. We feel that the current plan of dividing the property into 8 units would be completely out of character with the rest of the subdivision given that the smallest lot on Impala Drive is approximately 7400 square feet and the proposed lots would each be 3400 square feet. We feel that the strategy of developing the land in two (2) phases to avoid street improvements on Vine Street violates the spirit of development codes. We also feel there is a potential conflict of interest with Mikal Torgerson being on the Planning and Zoning Board and the developer of the property. Lastly, North Impala Drive is a privately maintained street. We are concerned as to who will be responsible for maintaining the street if this development goes through.
