Collins, CO 80522-0580 Project: Fort Collins Coloradoan — Response to comments dated 02/25/04 Dear Ted We have revised the plans for the Fort Collins Coloradoan per city comments dated 02/25/04. There have been a few site changes from the last set of plans, which are listed below o Revisions to parking lot on the east side of the site. o Retaining walls were added at the northwest and northeast sides of the building. o The proposed utility services from the street were relocated to the central driveway. o The walks along the front of the building are now all 8-feet wide. Our responses are as follows: Water Wastewater — Jeff Hill General Comments • The proposed fire line alignment has been corrected per your comments and all pipe lengths have been labeled • The limits of the abandonment of existing service are clearly defined as to phase and method. • Your entire plan redlines have been addressed or responded to on the plans. Stormwater— Wes Lamarque • Drainage easements will be provided for the water quality pond. These will be provided along with the other easements that are being dedicated by separate document on the plan. • A site -specific water quality device is provided on the detail sheet. You will note that is labeled "modified for the Coloradoan". • We have added additional discussion of the drainage outfall for this site. Excerpts are included here. o Historically stormwater from the site leaves the site via surface flow at northeast comer of the site. A site visit on Saturday 12/13/03 showed this to be the case.
