Dear Resident or Property Owner:
On Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at 4:30 p.m., at the City of Fort Collins Current Planning
Department, 281 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, 80524, the Current
Planning Director will conduct an administrative public hearing to consider a
development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as Fort Collins
Coloradoan Expansion, #41-03
The request is for a new office building for the Coloradoan staff and customers. The
new building would be located where the old Collins Cashway building is presently
located. This existing building would be demolished.
The new building would be two -stories and contain approximately 37,000 square feet.
There would be 147 parking spaces. The site is 2.28 acres in size.
If you have any interest or concern about this proposed project, you are encouraged to
attend this public hearing. At the hearing, you will have the opportunity to hear from the
City staff and the project applicant about the details of the project. You will also be
given the opportunity to state your views about the project.
The affected property owners list for this public hearing is derived from official records
of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have
been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all
neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
