HomeMy WebLinkAbout300 SMITH STREET, OLD TOWN COMMONS - PDP - 39-03A - CORRESPONDENCE - (16)From: "Bachmann & Associates, Inc." <rositabach@earthlink.net> To: Anne Aspen <aaspen@fcgov.com> Date: 11 /4/04 10:31 AM Subject: redesign of garage for unit 1 per suggestion Hi there! We came up with this option for Unit 1's garage. Move the garage back (south), the requested 10 feet. Extend the garage's west wall to the north (10 feet) to give the courtyard three walls of privacy. Relocate the metal gate from the north side and place it in the new extended wall. Owner can enter the courtyard and home from the driveway via gate. Will this meet the intended objective of making the garage less visible? Please advise before we start changing the plans. Benefit of approach: garage is less visible from the street. Draw back: we do away with the space behind the garage which was intended as courtyard for unit 2. Note: the quoins have been removed, the decorative front window have been removed on the north side's second floor, and new front door styles have been selected for units 2 and 3 for your review and comments.
