CORRECTED NOTICE — TIME — 7:00 — 9:00 P.M.
Dear Resident:
On Monday, November 10, 2003, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., in the Media Room at the
O'Dea Elementary School, 312 Princeton Road, Fort Collins, Colorado, the City of Fort
Collins will hold a neighborhood information meeting regarding a development proposal
in your neighborhood. The proposed project is Raising Cane's Drive -Through
Restaurant.
The property is the former Mister Money building at 2104 South College Avenue. The
restaurant would be 3,533 square feet and feature a drive -through service. The site is
slightly under one acre in size and located between Enterprise Rental Car and the Rutgers
Office Building. The property has frontage along Remington Street as well as South
College Avenue. (Please see map on reverse).
As most of you know, the snowstorm of March of 2003 caused the roof to collapse on the
Mister Money Building. The request would demolish the existing rear wall of the former
building and construct a new restaurant and parking lot.
The Raising Cane's proposal has been to the City of Fort Collins Conceptual Review
meeting. If you would like to receive a copy of the minutes from this meeting please feel
free to call the Current Planning Department at 221-6750.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have
been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all
neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
Sincerely:
710
