Plan, and the I-25 Subarea Plan, an element of City Plan.
Dear Town Manager,
Section 24-32-3209(2)(a) of the Colorado Revised Statutes requires local governments to provide
neighboring jurisdictions written notice of public hearings when the comprehensive plan of that
local government is to be considered for an amendment. Therefore, the purpose of this letter is to
inform the Town of Windsor that the Fort Collins City Council will consider an amendment to the
Structure Plan map, a component of City Plan, the City's Comprehensive Plan, and amendments
to the I-25 Subarea Plan, an element of City Plan. The amendments will change the designation
of approximately 25 acres of commercial land and 118 acres of open space land to 143 acres of
employment land in the SW quadrant of the Prospect Raod/I-25 interchange area; and also change
the designation of 86 acres of industrial land to 66 acres of commercial land and 20 acres of
employment land, plus change the designation of 19 acres of urban estate land to employment land
in the NE quadrant of the interchange. The City Council's public hearing will be conducted on the
following date and at the time and place listed:
Tuesday, October 16, 2007
6:00 P.M.
City Council Chambers
City Hall West, 300 Laporte Avenue
Fort Collins, CO
The Town of Windsor may submit comments to the City of Fort Collins prior to the above listed
hearing date. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
