any physical changes whatsoever, perhaps the new review and fee can be
eliminated. Is that possible? Nothing is changing in this case. I don't
want to throw delay in or throw a wrench into the works here, but If it is
possible that the TDR and fee can be eliminated in this case let me know.
With thanks,
Kelley

Kelly,
What you sent me is the decision from your hearing, which is the PDP
approval. Final approval and mylars are the second half of the
development review process. Please refer to the attached flowchart for
a description of the development review process. You are at the Final
Plan submittal stage. If you have further questions, please contact
me.

Hi Ann, Rob faxed me the attached letter from Cameron dated 9/24/04. . .
Rob
thinks final approval was given and this letter demonstrates it.
Please let
me know if this is missing from your file. In the mean time, I will
still
plan to bring 15 plats and two checks before noon on Wed as we
discussed
just in case Rob is mistaken. Rob seems to be certain we got final
approval
back in Sep of 2004 which is why he has generated mylars for recording.
Let
me know If we still need to go through another final approval round.
The
last page of the attached indicates the plan is approved subject to a
title
change on the plat which has been done.

The Transportation Development Review Fee (TDRF) was adopted by City Council and was established to cover
the costs of the time and effort taken by the Transportation Services staff to review, process, file and work on
submittals. The adopted fees apply to all projects and submittals as identified on the fee list.
The Plat you submitted was routed to the following Transportation Services staff for review and comments.
Traffic Operations, Transportation Planning, Technical Services, Surveying, and Engineering. Transportation
Services staff attends meetings where this project is discussed and will typically attend the hearing for the
project as well. Once final Plat is received it will need to be processed, filed and copies made for distribution by
Technical Services.
Since these fees were established and adopted by City Council the City Attorneys office has told us that staff
does not have the authority to waive or adjust the fees - only City Council has that ability at this time.
Therefore I am unable to adjust or waive any of the fees.
We are keeping track of the time It takes to work on various types of projects and will be evaluating the fees at
the end of next year once we have enough information, and data for projects that were started after January
2006 and have been completed. At that time we will determine if the existing fees need to be readjusted. As
for this project it will be difficult to evaluate it as it was originally submitted in July of 2004, did not pay the full
amount of fees, and we will not have a full accounting of the time spent as we did not start keeping track of
time spent until January of 2006.
There is an informational brochure and other additional information on the fee on the City web site at:
www.fcgov.com/engineering/dev-review. hhp
I hope this information helps explain what this fee is for. Please let me know if you have any additional
questions.

Hi Ann, as you know I filed the 15 plats and paid the $200 final plan fee
and the $1000 transportation review fee today. Thanks for expediting the
way you have. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that.
Where online can I go to read more about the Transportation Development
Review and this newly established fee of $1000. Because we are not making
