06/11/2014: Internal vehicular circulation may be problematic. Traffic is concerned that people will not
realize they have to use the mail drop lane to access this site and instead will drive through the post
office parking aisle and then try to wrong way drive in the mail drop lane to get to the access location.

11/06/2013: At the Landings and Boardwalk intersection the overall LOS is not met. Per LCUASS table
4-3 for a stop controlled arterial -arterial intersection, the LOS must be C or better. Some available
options include transportation demand measures, intersection improvements or request a variance to
the LCUASS standard.

6/11/14: FIRE LANES
Comment Originated: 11/03/2013
The 7,192 sq. ft. office building is approximately 110' out of general fire access as defined by the
International Fire Code, however as the building will have a fire sprinkler system, the 1 10'increase has
been approved by the Fire Marshal.
11/03/2013: FIRE LANES
The proposed buildings are bordered by arterial roads and it is understood that fire access is to be
provided by an EAE on the south side of the property. As the issue of vehicle access remains under
discussion between the applicant and the US Postal Service, final fire department approval of the EAE
and site plan will be based on final plans. Also, building access is measured from the EAE drive aisle
and the current site plan places the primary office building out off access. Further discussion is
advised.
O61FC 503.1.1: Fire Lanes shall be provided to within 150' of all portions of a building, as measured by
an approved route around the exterior of the building or facility.

06/10/2014: TURNING RADII
Comment Originated: 11/05/2013
> Turning radii into the site at Boardwalk Drive meets minimum fire code requirements (See curve
table C2 & C3).
> Turning radii near the west end of the site meets minimum fire code requirements (See curve table
C4 & C5)..
> Applicant must show that the turn created on the south side of the property where it connects with
USPS property meets required turning radii at that location.
11/05/2013: TURNING RADII
Please confirm that required turning radii for fire apparatus have been met at the connection with the
existing US Postal Service drive aisle.
061FC 503.2.4 and Local Amendments: The required turning radii of a fire apparatus access road shall
be a minimum of 25 feet inside and 50 feet outside.
