02/11/2014: Sht C201: Please revise the solid bike lane stripe to be a 6" solid white line. If the
existing line isn't 6" in width then the development will need to paint the full length of the bike
lane stripe (terminates about where the Match Line is shown).

02/11/2014: Sht C201: Please show the double yellow painted median stripe fully across the
tracks with breaks about 1' each side of each rail. You can show the double yellow as
continuous with a note to break across the rails or show them as broken across the rails. The
City will paint over the concrete RR panels, just not the rails.

02/04/2014: Minor Correspondence about the Maintenance from the Trash Enclosure
remaining. Emails are currently underway to resolve the issue.
12/31/2013: Erosion Control Report is not missing any information, just minor edits. Section
1.1... "Carriage Apartments" Please Change, Section 2.2... "raze all structure" I was not aware
that there were still structures to be demolished, Section 2.7... "Grasses Gravel'... missing and? or
is this glass -less gravel?, and Section 4.1 please specify weed free mulch. The erosion
control plans had some redlines specifically 1) Perimeter Controls on a few of the sides 2)
Worries about wattles as perimeter control on tall buildings not being effective basis The District
at Campus West. Please address this issue to ensure the site will be effective at preventing the
materials from ending up in the Poudre. 3) Missing Inlet Protection how is the inlet protection
going to prevent discharge from a water quality structure. Please show detail. Also the location
of the trash enclosure is close to the outlet structure, this could be an issue for long term
pollution discharges. Possible secondary containment? Erosion Control Escrow Calculation
looked good but might have to be recalculated when the plans are shored up. If you need
clarification concerning this, or if there are any questions please contact Jesse Schlam

02/14/2014: On sheet (LS102) 2 of 17, please add a note number 11 that states: "Fixed Bike
Racks shall be permanently anchored to concrete and not interfere with walkways or
landscaping." Also, see the proposed revision to note number 10 so that is more general in
nature.

02/14/2014: As you are aware, Staff has allowed the privately -owned, pole -mounted,
decorative light fixtures to be removed from the Final Plan due to issues related to allowing
their placement within public right-of-way. These issues remain unresolved at this time. Staff,
however, is exploring various options that would ultimately allow these fixtures to be permitted,
subject to criteria that meets the objectives of all the affected parties. In order to ensure that
should a proper procedure be agreed upon, and that these fixtures are then able to be added
back into the plans, Staff recommends that the applicant pre -submit a Minor Amendment. This
Minor Amendment will be accepted and reviewed but put on HOLD until the final procedures
are resolved. In the event that circumstances result in these fixtures not being able to be installed,
then the fees associated with the Minor Amendment will be refunded.

02/13/2014: May have comments from Inspection.
01/08/2014: With the inclusion of the signing and striping plan for Mason Street, additional
review of the patching limits will be done. We may need to provide additional patching out to
the railroad track for a section to avoid the acute angle where the inlet is, but will need to see
the patching information along with the lane lines to have a more complete review. The City's
standard note regarding limits of street repair being approximate should be added.

02/13/2014: Please indicate that a variance was granted on 2/12 to the minimum cover
requirements on general note #48. This justification was based on the use of the concrete
pavement section and the fact that the area will not normally be normally subject to vehicular
loads.
01/08/2014: The storm drain plan and profile sheet should also include design information for
the additional storm line on Mason Street with the shifting storm inlet. Will want to see the cover
over the pipe depicted.

02/14/2014: On the Lighting Plan, the Luminaire Schedule calls for two BB1 fixtures but on
sheet FDP 9, the schematic is titled BB2. Please resolve. Also be sure that the selected
fixture is down -directional as up -lighting is not permitted.

02/14/2014: Please supplement the numbering system so that the various plan sheets from the
entire design team are organized as a single set and that indexes are adjusted accordingly,
and that each sheet is part of a 17 sheet set. Note that sheets LS101 and LP001 are not
needed. The sequence will be as follows: site plan (sheets 1 - 4) , landscape plan (sheets 5 -
7), architectural elevations and shadow analysis (sheets 8 - 15), lighting plan (sheets 16 -17).
