[2/25/051 The plans call for outfall curb and gutter along the street— this will help eliminate
any concentrated flows onto the property to the south. Please call out more grade
elevations in the street, along 10th Street to verify that the site will drain towards the street
and away from the gutter.

Topic: General
Number. 39 Created: 2/25/2005
[2/23/05] It is a condition of your P&Z approval that a landscape plan showing both existing
and proposed landscaping be provided. Your final plans show only the plants and trees you
intend to remove. Tim Buchanan and I have both reviewed the removals and agree that
there is no problem with removing the plants as shown, since they are too small or weedy to
be significant. The remaining question in our minds is if and how to mitigate for this loss.
Since you will have to address the archaeological issues and research the history before
you can propose landscaping, and since the landscape plan will need to be approved by the
LPC after a more rigorous review than ours, it will be sufficient to meet the conditions of your
P&Z approval to state on your plans in your notes that the Landscape plan must be
approved by the LPC prior to commencing any landscape work on the site.

[2123/05] The walkway to the entry is not shown on the plan. Will there be one or two
entries? Where will the entr(ies) be located? What kind of walkway? How wide? How lit?
How will it tie into the sidewalk? What type of paving?

[2/23/95] Please match your site plans to the utility plans, specifically where the sidewalk
ends at the south of the park. Show the transition to grade.

[2/23/05] Snapshot #2 is confusing. What is it showing? It is not the same as the numbers
for the downlight and yet it is not the pattern of an uplight???

Please provide additional existing spot elevations on 10th and Romero Street in order to
demonstrate that drainage from the roads does slope away from the site. Flow arrows
and/or cross slope labels should also be provided.
