Re: Romero House on for Dec 2 P&Z Board Hearing
I will be there but the comment about storm drainage improvements is puzzling. As far as I know,
Stormwater isn't planning any improvements there. I don't know who made the comment, I'm thinking
they are talking about the curb, gutter and sidewalk causing the need for drainage facilities. If that is so,
the drainage facilities are really just part of the street work. Not a Stormwater project. See ya Monday.

Hello all,
Direction has come down from City Mgr. that the Romero House, which you were just routed today, needs
to be on the December 2 P&Z Board Agenda.
What this means is that staff review can't happen as late as Dec. 1, as marked on your routing sheets.
The staff report is due today but is scheduled to go to the printer Wednesday. So we'll have to review it on
the fly at Wednesday's staff review and I'll have to cobble together a staff review Wednesday after review.
I need all you reviewers to look over the conceptual review comments, especially this one:
"Recognizing that this is a unique situation, Pete also recommends a staff and client coordination meeting
to clarify requirements for site in regards to applicable fees and infrastructure needs. While curb, gutter
and sidewalks are needed in this area, the timing of these improvements will need to be coordinated with
storm drainage facilities and other street improvement projects including funding sources, which could
take some time to resolve."
and get in touch with me and/or other departments as necessary to resolve any issues, especially the
sidewalk and other public improvement issues BY WEDNESDAY morning. If you are in contact with other
departments or the applicant on this project, please cc: me so I can make sure the staff report is accurate.
The neighborhood meeting is still scheduled for November 30th so any issues that come out of that will
have to be added as conditions or something at the P&Z Board Hearing?!?
Sorry for the rush, but we gotta do it.
Anne
