The Romero House applicants looked like deer caught in the headlamps of a car. In regards to the artifact statement, I don't know - B.I. (Mike Gebo)may be able to tell us. I've forwarded the question on for him. My guess is that the UCBC weighs in and the language may make more allowances for "artifacts." Carol >>> Anne Aspen 11/02/04 03:42PM >>> Hi Carol, Any thoughts about the email I forwarded you yesterday? I'd like to get back to Rick as soon as I can since he has been in touch with the applicant (Byron)about it. I heard from Katherine Woods (also part of the applicant team) that they are worried. I'd like to allay their fears if possible. Also, I noticed on the architectural plans that there is a comment which states: "Note: This project involves the preservation and rehabilitation of a designated historic landmark structure. For building code review the building may be considered an artifact." How does this bear on the review? Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thanks, Anne
