Columbine Health Services - Rule Farm
February 24, 2005
Dear Mr. Shepard,
I received the notice regarding the Feb 28th development proposal meeting
for the above project. I may not be able to make the meeting, so I thought I
would e-mail you my concerns.
My only real concern is the location of the vehicle entrance(s). I would
strongly oppose any entrance from Rule Drive. Rule, between Lemay and.
Wheaton, is very busy with local traffic already and an entrance on Rule
would greatly increase the traffic on Rule and through the Oakridge
residential neighborhood.
I live on the corner of Oak Island and Rule and I estimate the daily traffic
count on the two blocks of Rule, from Lemay to Wheaton, at over 1000
vehicles. It would be very interesting to get an accurate count. Cars
constantly speed the two blocks and the added traffic would have a very
negative effect on my and my neighbors quality of life.
As far as the rest of the project I really have no problems with it. I would
just suggest some kind of berms and foliage along the south side on Rule.
Thanks you for all your hard work and for your consideration of my concerns.
Sincerely,
Cory Johnson
